Terms of Use
By signing up for or using Third Wheel, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. What is Third Wheel
Third Wheel ("we", "our", "the service") is a WhatsApp-based AI assistant designed for couples. It helps you manage shared expenses, shopping lists, date planning, reminders, household contacts, and more — delivered through WhatsApp messages powered by Claude AI (Anthropic).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Third Wheel. By signing up, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that all information you provide is accurate.
3. How the service works
Third Wheel is delivered entirely via WhatsApp. When you sign up, you provide your phone number and your partner's phone number. Both of you receive a WhatsApp message to begin using the service. Continued use is entirely through WhatsApp conversation.
The service uses artificial intelligence to process your messages and respond. AI responses may occasionally be imperfect — always verify important information (financial amounts, dates, bookings) independently.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Third Wheel to:
- •Send abusive, threatening, or illegal content
- •Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or exploit the AI system
- •Use the service on behalf of more than one couple per account
- •Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service
- •Automate interactions in a way that disrupts the service
5. Account and partner consent
When you register, you provide your partner's phone number. By doing so, you confirm that your partner is aware of and consents to receiving WhatsApp messages from Third Wheel. You are responsible for ensuring your partner's consent before submitting their contact details.
6. Data and privacy
Your use of Third Wheel is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using the service you consent to our data practices as described there.
7. Third-party services
Third Wheel integrates with third-party services including WhatsApp / Twilio (messaging), Google (Calendar and Maps), Anthropic (AI), and Supabase (data storage). Your use of these integrations is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
8. Limitation of liability
Third Wheel is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- •Inaccurate AI responses or financial calculations
- •Missed reminders, failed notifications, or service downtime
- •Loss of data due to technical failures
- •Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be zero for free-tier users).
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active users of material changes via WhatsApp.
10. Stopping the service
You can stop using Third Wheel at any time by simply not messaging the bot. To request deletion of your data, send "delete my data" via WhatsApp. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
